About GLVC

Glenmore Landing Vein Clinic has been helping patients improve their legs for over 20 years.  Varicose veins are a genetic disease that affects one in every five women and one in every fifteen men.  It is a progressive condition, which can lead to such complications as phlebitis, hemorrhage, bruising, eczema, or skin ulcers.  Sclerotherapy has become an increasingly effective procedure to treat varicose veins since the 1920's.  You are welcome to book a consultation as we would appreciate the opportunity to assess your varicose veins.

At the Glenmore Landing Vein Clinic we provide a variety of services beyond sclerotherapy injections.  We offer a wide range of facial rejuvenation procedures such as Intense Pulse Light treatment for facial redness and veins, Chemical peels, Microdermabrasion, Perlane/Restylane, Juvederm dermal fillers as well as Botox.  We also offer our patients a range of skin care products and Jane Iredale mineral make-up.

Thousands of satisfied patients will attest that our physicians and professionals always have your best interests at heart. Give us a call, book a free consultation, and start your path to looking and feeling your best.

Dr. Audrey Undseth, MD

Dr. Undseth decided to return to university and graduated with a Medical Doctor degree from the University of Calgary in 1998 and completed her specialty in Family Medicine in 2000.

Dr. Don Watt, MD

Dr. Don Watt is one of Calgary’s better known Interventional Radiologists. For over 30 years he was Chief of Radiology at the Holy Cross and Rockyview General Hospital.

As an Interventional Radiologist Dr. Don Watt had to be an innovator in interventional procedures during the years he spent at these two hospitals. In 2003 he decided to join the Glenmore Landing Vein Clinic and use his skills and ability to innovate, to improve vein treatment in Calgary. Because he is also trained and accredited in medical ultrasound he was able to combine the new foam techniques with ultrasound and create his own techniques to treat large varicose veins.

It is Dr. Don Watt’s opinion that ultrasound guided foam treatment of varicose veins is superior to all other techniques including surgery and endovenous laser. He was trained in endovenous laser in New York but his brand new laser remains on the shelf unused because of his foam techniques.

Up to this time he feels that foam is the best treatment that has ever been available for the treatment of large varicose veins. Because he is dedicated to only large varicose vein treatment, his individual case load is probably higher than anybody else in North America. This high volume allows for continuous improvement in his techniques, to the benefit of his patients.
